Hi there! Welcome to the Genpink Mommy blog! My name is Jacqueline, and I’m writing from Dallas, TX. My husband and I have been married for six years, together for…ten? (Geez I feel old.) I’m mom to an active 4 year old boy:

I’ll share a lot with you guys, but for safety’s sake, I’m going to be calling my son Leo in the blog. Leo loves parties for any occasion. This has lead to an endless stream of pretend parties and an obsession with: party decor, hats, wrapping paper, gift bags, invitations…I have a cabinet in my kitchen filled with all this stuff. So the other day, he got out a Valentine’s card and taped it to my little wooden secretary desk. Of course he got out the party hats and made me wear one too. Can you see the excitement on my face?
Everyday’s a party with this guy.
We also have a two year old rescue dog named Mazzy Rose (after the 90’s band Mazzy Star). Here she is trying to get me to get off the couch to feed her.
I’m a mompreneur, so I spend about 18 hours a week working on my paintings and iPhone case designs for my Etsy shop. Some of my paintings have been featured and sold in local art shows.
I like to cook and use an unusual mix of ingredients. Updating classic meals from my family’s diverse background (Poland, France, China, and the American south) makes cooking less of a chore for me. I’ll share some of my own recipes and cooking ideas.
I’ve been a dog lover my whole life like my mom, who found her first dog on the side of the road in Massachusetts when she was fifteen.
I sort of jokingly call myself a fashion huntress, because I will hunt until I find what I want for a fair deal. So I’ll be posting my mom style finds for you.
Lastly, one of the ways I get through the day is by keeping my sense of humor intact at all costs. So I’ll share some stories and maybe make you guys laugh.
